Dental Insurance Review

When my job first offered me dental insurance I was not sure if I should take it. After talking to some of my neighbors I realized that many of them had no dental care plan so I thought it made no sense to get one. I thought dental insurance plans are something we can all live without. I trusted one neighbor more than the rest my friend Jack.

When Jack got home from work I got talking to him and he disagreed with me whole hardedly. Jack told me that he took full advantage of his companies dental insurance and suggested that I do the same. I went home and reviewed the paperwork and opted in to my jobs dental plan.

One month later my son came into my home office and said: "Dad I have a toothache and it hurts." I looked in my son's mouth and found his first cavity. I knew right then and there that I made the right choice to join United Dental Insurance.

My plan was able to cover my son's cavity which required a two office visits, drilling and filling and follow up care. The filling and office visit on the first round was covered up to fifty percent and the follow up and preventive care for my son was one hundred percent covered.

Soon after that visit I followed up for my own preventative care and that also was covered one hundred percent. My dental insurance covered much more than I thought it would. I must admit that I am so happy that I joined my dental insurance plan.

This plan has saved me so much money it is amazing. My X-rays were almost all covered and my follow up care is covered and other services are mostly covered.

The insurance also covers up to three members of my family at no extra cost to me. If I want to add another member beyond that third person it will only cost me one hundred and fifty dollars per year. I love my dental plan and I will tell everyone that I can to get your family a plan right away!
